Fileni adopts the compostable packaging for its antibiotic-free products

October 2020 – Fileni, an Italian company based in the Marche region, leader in the production of organic meats, launches a new packaging which is compostable in all its parts: tray, film, label and absorbent pad.

The tray is made of Mater-Bi, the material developed by Novamont R&D that reconciles quality and performance with an efficient use of resources from an environmental point of view. The transition to the new packaging will avoid placing 1.5 million traditional plastic trays on the market.

Fileni wanted to emphasize its sustainable choice by also renewing the graphic aspect of the labels which, with the claim “Let’s save the planet”, draw the consumer’s attention to a conscious, responsible and informed choice.
